Jeane currently lives on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Previously she lived in South Africa, Perth and Melbourne.

She started work as a Librarian (Univ of Pretoria, South Africa) in public, university (UNISA) and medical (UWA) libraries.

Jeane immigrated to Australia and later trained and worked in Aged and Dementia Care (Cert 111) and in her third age qualified as a Lawyer (CDU), gained a Master of Laws – LLM (Applied Law) COLLAW (Sydney). She is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), CM-1 Mediator, and a certified CDC Divorce Transition and Recovery Coach, as well as trained in Elder Mediation, having now achieved her EMIN Cert EM.

Jeane is a member of EMIN and the Elder Mediation Australasian Network (EMAN), Dispute Resolution Agency Australasia (DRA), Mediation Institute; Australian Dispute Resolution Association (ADRA) and Victorian Association for Dispute Resolution (VADR)

Jeane has volunteered at a domestic violence not-for-profit organisation, the Mediation Institute and is a co-mediator at InterMEDIATE Dispute Management.

In 2023 Jeane started her private practice, hope & harmony coaching and mediation, specialising in supporting clients in separation/divorce, family law mediation and over 50s life transitions, and is hoping to include Elder Mediation services. Her ethos is transforming transition & turmoil into hope & harmony.
