10th World Summit on Elder Mediation
The Elder Mediation International Network is pleased to announce that the 10th EMIN World Summit on Mediation with Age Related Issues will be held in November, 2021. We are sorry not to be able to engage in person in Copenhagen, Denmark for our 10th World Summit but the decision to postpone was necessary to protect the health and well-being of attendees from COVID-19. We hope that when we emerge from the reality of this pandemic that we can look to Copenhagen once more. In the meantime, the Summit planning group has been busy confirming speakers and assembling a virtual conference experience which will include expert presentations from Elder mediators from around the world, and provide excellent networking opportunities through a state of the art virtual conference platform. We are very excited about our first virtual World Summit on Elder Mediation as it presents greater opportunity for mediators from around the world to attend. More details about the presentations and speakers will be posted on this site as they become available.
Since 2008 EMIN has conducted nine international summits – in Canada, Ireland, United States, Scotland, Switzerland, Austria, England and Australia connecting people from many countries – mediators, lawyers, gerontologists, social workers, physicians, health care professionals, volunteers, family members, caregivers, academics, students, service clubs and others considering entering this new field of practice – coming together to share their knowledge, vision and questions.
