Patricia Clare Koch, Cert.EM Advanced
Clare has contributed substantially in the last 30 years in the building of communities to a position of self-reliance, inclusion, self-growth, productivity and challenge. Within each of these unique structures the ‘life passages’ of the members have been recognised and resourced. Patricia integrates her counselling, relational, conflict management, family conferencing, child inclusion and mediation skills when responding to individuals, groups, families, couples, and others as required. Patricia is an early ‘initiator’ and is always ready to develop further competencies. Her preferred framework is Solution Focus that brings the great joy of individuals being able to know their own inner strengths and to have a belief in themselves.
Clare has been an educator and community initiator for over 40 years across the spectrum of life, from children to adults, in a variety of forums. Clare was the Director and Manager of a highly acclaimed Australian loss and grief program that is in over nine countries. It is a psycho-education program for children, young people and adults in helping them manage change, loss and grief in their lives. It is based on Worden’s Theory and it uses Australian imaginary to help participants find a language to process their experience; this could include death, separation / divorce, drought, floods, bushfires or any other significant loss.
Clare lives in Cremorne, NSW Australia.
