Helen HarnettThe Elder Mediation International Network (EMIN) is pleased to announce that Brian O’Neill has been elected by the Board of EMIN as the new Chairperson of EMIN, as and from August 1st 2019.  Brian succeeds Helen Harnett in that role.  Helen has been Chair for the past six years during which  there have been many developments including the upgraded website, a major international review of our Code of Ethics,  a thorough review of  international certification,  incorporation and recently-gained charitable status for EMIN.  Helen’s wisdom and gentle guidance have been invaluable and inspiring and we are very grateful to her for the commitment and energy that she brought to the role. Helen continues as an active Board member in her role as Past Chair of EMIN.

Brian has been active in the Elder Mediation field for the past 9 years and has extensive experience working and training with Later Life Mediation, a group practice in Ireland. He has been a Board member of EMIN for the last few years and looks forward to working closely with the other Board members to further the practice of Elder mediation worldwide and to ensure that Elder Mediators are supported in their work.
